Having spent my early life in the Highlands and Islands, I had the very good fortune to have had parents, with whom I travelled over this whole expanse from a very young age, which instilled and encouraged a great love and curiosity in me. To this day, I have great pleasure in imparting this knowledge to visitors of many backgrounds and nationalities. I have spent many years living in Austria, Italy and Switzerland, in addition to having had a long career in Middle-Eastern trade finance in London and the South-East of England.
