I have been a tour guide for almost 30 years. For 22 of these I operated my own holiday business, offering walking, wildlife and Scottish history trips – in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Ireland and south-west USA.

I speak German, French and some Dutch. I have a full (D) bus licence and so can offer driver-guided tours in almost any size of vehicle. I also offer group and individual hiking programmes including special topics such as bird-watching, wildflowers, local history, the Picts, Scottish literature, castles and gardens. My other interests include Scottish heritage, dialects and literature, photography and geology.
