Robert's passion for the North Highlands is brought to life when he is sharing his knowledge with others. His long term interest in history and genealogy now seamlessly mixes wtih folk tales and clan histories. Add this to his love of the north coast landscape and photography, and he will provide you with an enjoyable and informative insight into the North Highlands and North Coast 500.

Local knowledge gained from almost 20 years of North Highland exploration enables him to provide inspiration to guests as a driver guide and his family-run business, North Coast Explorer Tours, is 5 star rated by Visit Scotland.

He is trained by the University of Highlands and Islands and accredited as a North Highlands Tourist Guide by the STGA (Scottish Tour Guides Association). He is also studying for a BA (HONS) degree in the History, Heritage and Culture of the North Highlands.
