I am a born and bred Highlander, brought up near Inverness on the beautiful Black Isle.
I am proud to represent the North Highlands and the unique culture and scenery that draws so many people here.
I am keen to show the visitor that although the area has a rich cultural past it is not a museum, it is a living vibrant place to visit and can provide fascinating experiences for all those who want to see the beyond tartan and shortbread image that the Highlands can portray.
I come from a service industry background and recently qualified at the University of the Highlands and Islands with a Scottish Tourist Guides Green Badge which taught me not only how to look after my guests, but also included lectures in history, language, folklore, fauna and flora that are specific to the Highlands.
I love living in the Highlands. The people are so welcoming and life is so much more relaxed here than in a city. If you travel with me I will show you the real Highlands and the hidden gems that make the place so special.
