I have spent most of my life in Northern Scotland in education and community based learning projects.

I really enjoy Tourist Guiding because it offers me a different focus to use my professional communication and presentation skills to show off my beautiful country to travellers from all over the world.

I have recently returned to the Highlands from living in Germany where I
enjoyed learning the language and exploring Europe. Whilst there I volunteered at my local integration centre, which provided support for the many refugees that were arriving in Germany at that time.

I am now based in Nairn, my husband’s family hometown which brings me closer to the Highland culture and its traditions. Here the Scottish language, culture, and heritage are unique and there is much to learn and enjoy.

My intent is, that by sharing observations and tales about the history, cultural traditions and natural landscape you too will enjoy the experience. Then after your visit you will take fond memories of Scotland back home and haste ye back for more.
